Main Duties

- Meet with clients to assess financial needs, objectives, risk tolerance, and current financial situation.
- Develop personalized financial plans and investment strategies based on client goals and market analysis.
- Recommend financial products and services, such as investment vehicles, retirement plans, insurance, and tax-efficient strategies.
- Monitor client portfolios, review performance, and adjust recommendations in response to market changes or life events.
- Prepare and maintain accurate client records, documentation, and compliance-related files.
- Stay informed of economic trends, regulatory changes, and new financial products to provide up-to-date advice.

Requirements

- Post-secondary education in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial services, investment advising, or a related client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market principles.
- Proficiency with financial planning and portfolio management software and standard office applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
- Willingness to complete industry-required registrations or certifications and to undergo background checks as applicable.
