The incumbent will:

Provide leadership that is visible, pro-active and provides the delivery of client care through the application of practice standards. In consultation with the Obstetrics, Maternal Visiting Program and combined Diabetes Antenatal

Clinic, the individual is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff,

planning, implementing, and evaluating designated educational activities/programs either facility-based and/or region wide. The Obstetrics

Nurse Educator will use a consultative approach with evidenced based research to provide support to obstetrics staff.
