: As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Public Health Nurse provides a full range of community-based public health nursing services including pre and post natal care, immunization, health appraisal and screening, communicable disease follow-up and health counseling. The Public Health Nurse participates in community health initiatives utilizing cooperative and collective approaches to health in partnership with the community.





Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Minimum of one (1) year Public Health Nursing experience is an asset.

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

- Valid Class 5 driver's license

Knowledge and Abilities

- Knowledge in population and public health concepts

- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
