Coordinator (NUC) will be responsible for ensuring the day to day operations and the resident flow of the Long Term Care Facility, as well as leading the development of a resident centered, Eden philosophy of care. The incumbent will facilitate the encouragement of critical thinking skills of the nursing staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.
The incumbent will also be responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to ensure a high standard of acute care is delivered in the home facility.
The incumbent will serve as Team Lead to other facilities in the region and be responsible for supporting implementation of resident-centered care approaches and fostering excellence in geriatric care on a regional basis.
