We are seeking a Nursing Advisor – Clinical Support to join our team on an on-demand, project-based basis in Metro Vancouver, BC Area. In this role, you will leverage your years of bedside, teaching, and product evaluation experience to assess new medical products, assist with clinical trials, and lead educational in-services for clinicians during new product launches.

Target Candidate: Retired Registered Nurse (RN) maintaining registered "Retired" status with the BC provincial authority.

Key Responsibilities

- Teaching & Clinical Education:
- Design and deliver explicit, engaging educational materials and in-service training for healthcare staff during new product rollouts.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations, Q&A; sessions, and clinical orientation (virtual or on-site) for clinic and hospital staff.
- Act as a trusted clinical subject matter expert (SME) during client presentations and product launch events.

Qualifications & Experience





- Maintained active "Retired" or equivalent non-practicing status in good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory body (e.g., British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives - BCCNM, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10–15+ years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or community health settings.
- Prior experience as a Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN), Nurse Educator, Value Analysis Nurse, or Practice Leader is strongly preferred.
- Proven background participating in or leading clinical product trials, equipment evaluations, or hospital purchasing committees.
- Demonstrated excellence in adult education, clinical in-servicing, and clear verbal/written communication.
- Comfort with remote meeting tools (MS Teams) and presentation software.

Work Schedule & Compensation

- Schedule: On-Demand, work is assigned on a project-by-project basis, centered around new product launches and evaluation cycles. You have full freedom to accept or decline assignments based on your availability.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly consulting rate or project-based honorarium (commensurate with experience).
- Expenses: All travel, material, and site visit expenses reimbursed.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
