OFSAA Transaction Monitoring Technical Lead – AML, FCCM & Oracle Core Responsibilities

Technical Ownership & Architecture

- Own the end-to-end technical architecture of the OFSAA Transaction Monitoring platform, including:
- OFSAA
- FCCM
- Oracle Database
- ETL
- Scheduling
- Integrations
- Define and enforce technical standards, patterns, and best practices for:
- Transaction Monitoring processing
- Job orchestration
- Data handling
- Evaluate and drive platform enhancements, performance optimizations, and modernization initiatives, including:
- Cloud enablement
- Refactoring
- Re-engineering

OFSAA TM Engineering & Platform Build
- Lead hands-on engineering for OFSAA Transaction Monitoring jobs, including:
- Entity Resolution (ER)
- Transaction Monitoring (TM)
- Reconciliation
- Validation
- Supporting batch processes
- Design and maintain AutoSys job flows, dependencies, restartability, and recovery strategies.
- Provide technical guidance on:
- Oracle SQL
- Partitioning
- Statistics collection
- Performance tuning
- Review and approve TM technical designs, runbooks, and implementation artifacts.

Production Support & Complex Issue Resolution
- Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for OFSAA TM production incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis across:
- OFSAA
- ETL/IETL
- Oracle Database
- File ingestion
- Scheduling layers
- Design permanent fixes for recurring issues, data breaks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Proactively identify and remediate technical risks impacting AML operations.

Data Quality, Controls & Reconciliation




- Design and oversee technical data quality controls, validations, and reconciliations supporting TM scenarios.
- Ensure technical integrity between:
- Source systems
- Staging layers
- OFSAA TM tables
- Partner with data and controls teams to implement preventive and detective controls within TM pipelines.

Change Delivery & Regulatory Initiatives
- Lead technical delivery for:
- Scenario changes
- Tuning
- Threshold updates
- Lookbacks
- Regulatory commitments
- Drive TM changes through SDLC with focus on:
- Testability
- Traceability
- Audit readiness
- Support audits, regulatory examinations, and model risk reviews by providing:
- Technical explanations
- Evidence
- System traceability

Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to:
- Engineers
- Developers
- Vendor teams
- Review:
- Code
- SQL
- Job definitions
- Technical solutions
- Mentor team members on:
- OFSAA TM internals
- AML platform design
- Production engineering best practices
- Act as the technical bridge between AML stakeholders and engineering teams.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

OFSAA / AML Platforms

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle OFSAA Transaction Monitoring and FCCM Transaction Monitoring.
- Deep understanding of:




- TM batch processing
- Entity resolution
- Alert generation
- Lookbacks
- Experience supporting enterprise AML Transaction Monitoring platforms in regulated environments.

Engineering & Infrastructure
- Advanced Oracle SQL skills, including:
- Performance tuning
- Partitioning
- Database troubleshooting
- Strong experience with AutoSys or equivalent enterprise schedulers.
- Experience with:
- ETL
- IETL
- Informatica
- File ingestion
- Reconciliation frameworks
- Strong understanding of:
- Linux scripting
- Batch operations
- Production support tooling

Delivery & Problem Solving
- Proven ability to solve complex cross-platform technical problems under production pressure.
- Experience leading technical design and delivery in large, regulated environments.
- Solid documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience modernizing or migrating OFSAA/TM workloads to cloud platforms.
- Exposure to high-volume payment or real-time monitoring platforms.
- Experience working with regulators, auditors, or model risk teams from a technology perspective.
