ESI Technologies is a Quebec-based IT consulting firm with over 32 years of experience specializing in information technology services.

We support organizations in their digital transformation initiatives, including enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data management, and IT service management.

As part of our growth, we are seeking an Operational Cybersecurity Analyst who wants to contribute to large-scale projects while growing within a team recognized for its expertise and people-centered approach.

?Your Role

As an Operational Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for:

- Monitoring cybersecurity services and business solutions
- Assessing security events, processing alerts, and performing required escalations
- Carrying out operational cybersecurity activities, including:
- Certificate management
- Analysis and processing of network and Internet access exception requests

- Ensuring that products, services, and components comply with cybersecurity best practices
- Evaluating risks associated with changes and ensuring that risk levels remain within acceptable thresholds
- Continuously monitoring threats and vulnerabilities and recommending preventive actions
- Identifying vulnerabilities through automated tools and manual analysis
- Validating security configurations and providing recommendations
- Participating in security incident investigations
- Producing technical opinions, recommendations, and reports
- Participating in workshops and follow-up meetings
- Preparing monthly progress reports

✅Minimum Requirements

Education

- College diploma (DEC) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Administration, or Science.

Accepted Equivalency:

- Attestation of College Studies (AEC)



in a relevant field combined with four (4) years of relevant experience.

Each year of missing formal education may be compensated by two (2) years of relevant experience.

Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology acquired within the last 10 years.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity acquired within the last 6 years.
- Must have completed, in Quebec, at least one assignment exceeding 220 person-days within an organization of more than 2,000 employees.

Significant Asset

? Possess at least one recognized cybersecurity certification from:

- ISC2
- EC-Council
- Offensive Security
- Fortinet
- Palo Alto Networks
- Cisco
- SANS Institute
- Microsoft
- AWS
