Operations – Officer

:

- Process loan and trade finance transactions based on business or customer instructions in accordance with established procedures and guideline.

- Maintain loan and trade finance transactions settle on time without issues. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

- Prepare payment and message instructions according to the loan & trade finance draw down/rollover instructions. Reconcile all incoming and outgoing settlement to ensure accuracy.

- Manage loan drawdown and rollover, interest rate resetting and repayment settlement. Monitor loan and or interest repayment, follow-up on overdue payments, and report the overdue statue of any transaction to the head or deputy head of finance and operation for further actions.

- Conduct name screening review or FINTRAC reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit guidelines.

- Collaborate with account managers, other teams or customers to ensure timely settlement of loan and trade finance operations.

- Participate system and procedure testing for new products or enhancement related to loan and trade finance.





- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

Job Specifications

- Minimum College/University graduate, Undergraduate degree in finance or commerce preferable.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial institution preferably in loan, trade finance fields support function in a fast paced environment, dealing with moderately complex issues and managing conflicting priorities.

- Good written and oral communication, bilingual of English and Chinese is preferable;

- Familiarity with PC based applications with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)•

- Positive, professional, and proactive work attitude with strong integrity and work ethics

- Ability to deal with colleagues and clients, in a skilled and courteous manner, and to develop and leverage professional working relationships.

- Ability to work both independently, as well as being a team-player in building a cohesive team.
