Job Summary

Coho Commissary is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations & Production Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our shared commercial kitchen facilities. This leadership role is responsible for facility operations, member services, leasing, compliance, and financial administration while ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and maintaining a safe, efficient, and fully compliant operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of two commissary kitchen facilities.

- Manage member onboarding, offboarding, renewals, and ongoing support.

- Conduct facility tours, manage leasing inquiries, and support occupancy goals.

- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, vendors, contractors, and facility security.

- Manage operational software, inventory, purchasing, and supply ordering.

- Administer member billing, account management, and monthly reconciliations.

- Monitor budgets, maintain administrative records, and prepare operational reports.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, business licensing, insurance requirements, and facility policies.

- Liaise with regulatory agencies, including Vancouver Coastal Health.





- Respond promptly to operational issues and member concerns to ensure smooth facility operations.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in operations, facilities, or general management.

- Strong organizational, financial, and administrative skills.

- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.

- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and maintenance projects.

- Knowledge of food production environments and regulatory compliance is an asset.

- Proficiency with business software and CRM/property management platforms is preferred.

- Food Safe & Cooking background is preferred by not necessary

Working Hours

- This is a full time position with regular hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required, as occasional after-hours availability may be necessary to address operational issues, emergencies, maintenance, or member support.
