Operations Technician – Roofing & Construction

We're looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Operations Technician to support our roofing crews and help keep projects running efficiently. This is a hands-on position that combines driving, logistics, warehouse organization, equipment maintenance, and jobsite support. No two days are exactly the same.

Responsibilities

- Deliver roofing materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Pick up materials from suppliers and return unused materials.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on company trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Complete monthly vehicle and trailer inspections.
- Support Production and Project Managers with jobsite logistics and quality control.
- Assist with dump runs and material recycling.
- Help ensure crews have the right materials and equipment to complete projects efficiently.
- Assist with site visits and other operational tasks as required.
- Maintain a secure, organized, and professional work environment.

QualificationsRequired
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Minimum five (5)



years of driving experience.
- Comfortable driving full-size pickup trucks and towing utility trailers.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Assets
- Previous construction or roofing experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience performing basic vehicle or equipment maintenance.
- CSTS 2020, Standard First Aid, and Fall Protection certification.
- Forklift experience.
