Tutor Doctor provides personalized one-on-one tutoring, both in-home and online, across the Fraser Valley, including Mission, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Aldergrove.

- The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Academic Tutor in Abbotsford who is passionate about supporting students in both their academic growth and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as Math, Science, English, and Social Studies
- Create personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style
- Assist with homework, assignments, and exam preparation




- Monitor student progress and provide updates to families and the Tutor Doctor team
- Encourage confidence, independence, and a positive attitude toward learning

What We’re Looking For

- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge in one or more academic subject areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, adaptable, and able to adapt to different learning styles
- Reliable transportation for in-home sessions in Mission
