Part-Time Baker / Production Team Member

Arthur's Snackette is looking for talented, hardworking bakers to join our growing team. We're a fast-paced sourdough bagel shop focused on exceptional craftsmanship, hospitality, and quality. We're looking for people who love food production, enjoy working with their hands, and thrive in a collaborative kitchen environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in baking who is excited by the chance to move between baking production, prep, and service as needed.

What you'll do:

- Assist with sourdough bagel production, including dough mixing, fermentation, shaping, boiling, and baking
- Produce cookie doughs, batters, icings, and other components for our sweet program
- Support food preparation for daily service
- Work service shifts and assist customers during operating hours
- Move fluidly between production, prep, and service responsibilities depending on the needs of the day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Contribute to a positive team culture built around quality and attention to detail

What we're looking for:

- Previous baking experience is required
- Background in food service is required
- Experience working on a service line is considered a strong asset




- Experience with sourdough fermentation and/or bagel production is a bonus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and switching between different tasks throughout the day
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with early mornings and physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks

Schedule and availability:

- Part-time: 3–4 days per week
- Up to 32 hours per week
- Candidates must be available to work between Wednesday and Sunday
- Shifts are staggered between 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Compensation and benefits:

- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
- Additional 4% vacation pay
- Tips averaging an additional $5–$10 per hour
