Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Operate tools such as welders and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to complete repairs or upgrades as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with facilities maintenance projects, including upgrades or renovations, ensuring safety standards are met.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests efficiently and professionally.
- Supervise or support other team members when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting wiring, circuits, and control systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is highly desirable.
- Welding skills are a plus; ability to operate welding equipment safely is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of clearly documenting work and instructions.
- Prior supervising or leadership experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for occasional on-call or after-hours support.
