About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Pest Control Exam Preparation Instructor to help students prepare for provincial pest management licensing examinations. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction, simplify technical concepts, and help learners build the knowledge and confidence needed to pass their certification exams.

Responsibilities

· Deliver engaging classroom and/or online exam preparation courses.

· Teach topics related to pest biology, integrated pest management (IPM), pesticide safety, application techniques, environmental protection, and relevant regulations.

· Prepare lesson plans, presentations, quizzes, and practice exams.

· Explain exam concepts clearly and answer student questions.

· Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

· Stay current with provincial licensing requirements and industry best practices.

· Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.

Qualifications

· Valid pest control/operator licence or equivalent industry certification.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pest management industry.

· Strong understanding of pest control principles, pesticide regulations, and safety practices.

· Previous teaching, training, coaching,



or public speaking experience is an asset.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Comfortable using virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet) and presentation software.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience preparing candidates for pest control licensing exams.

· Adult education or instructional experience.

· Familiarity with provincial pest management legislation and licensing requirements.
