Job Role:

A Pharmacist ensures the secure, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications while providing professional advice and support to patients and healthcare teams. The role focuses on promoting optimal health outcomes and maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and promptly for patients.
- Ensure adequate inventory of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs.
- Counsel patients on new or existing medications in a friendly, proactive, and professional manner.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, and clarify with prescribers when needed.
- Provide timely and positive resolutions to patient inquiries and physicians’ requests.
- Create health awareness and educate the community through initiatives such as public health days and clinics.




- Maintain regulatory compliance through accurate recordkeeping and adherence to pharmacy laws.
- Review and control costs within the dispensary to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Pharmacist License (OCP mandatory).
- Strong customer relations skills and a high level of professionalism.
- Proven leadership and performance management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $48.00-$65.00 per hour

Education

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
- Pharmacist: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Pharmacist License (required)
