About the campaign
Otherself campaign gives visibility and voice to the layered identities women carry beyond labels by celebrating the dualities, alternative roles, and power within modern womanhood.
Female professionals, founders, and creatives who operate in Toronto, GTA, Simcoe County and Peel Region were invited to apply for a chance to be featured in the Otherself campaign.
A select group of 20 women has been chosen to participate. This exclusive experience is fully complimentary for those selected.
This is not stock-photo work. Every frame is attached to a real person and a real story, which means the imagery has to carry some weight.
What you'll do
- Film reels, video, and photography for the campaign
- Edit and deliver assets sized for Instagram and web
- Travel to filming locations across Toronto, Simcoe, and the GTA
- Stay flexible with scheduling; a filming day schedule will be provided in advance and will take your availability into account
Creative direction is set by Noble Media Marketing. You'll be working to a defined brief rather than shaping the campaign's direction, though there's plenty of room for your eye within it.
If other parts of the campaign interest you, you're welcome to be involved beyond filming. What you'll walk away with
- A complete, cohesive portfolio series built around a single campaign, far stronger than scattered one-off shoots
- Credit as a named contributor, with credit on the specific work you produce
- Tagging across campaign and participant channels
- A small honorarium for your time
- Direct experience working to a client brief and delivering finished assets on a schedule
Who this is for
- Photography, film, or media students, or early-career creatives building a first professional body of work
- Anyone looking to build experience and reputation in the industry
- Comfortable directing non-skilled subjects and making people feel at ease on camera
- Working knowledge of Canva, CapCut, and editing for Instagram
- Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve are an asset
- Owns or has reliable access to a camera capable of stills and video
- Able to get yourself to filming locations in Toronto, Simcoe, and the GTA
- A genuine interest in the subject matter — this campaign is about women's stories, and it shows in the work when the person behind the camera cares
Portfolio matters more than credentials. If you have a strong eye and no formal training, apply anyway.
