Position Summary
As Pharmacy Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while supporting an experienced team and delivering exceptional clinical care. You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, collaborate with local healthcare providers, and play a key role in the ongoing growth and success of the pharmacy.
This role is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys leadership, values patient relationships, and wants to make a meaningful impact within an independent pharmacy where decisions are made locally and patient care always comes first.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily pharmacy operations while ensuring exceptional patient care and service delivery.
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, medication management, prescribing, and patient counselling.
- Build strong relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals within the community.
- Support medication reviews, chronic disease management, vaccinations, and expanded scope pharmacy services.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and overall operational performance.
- Monitor pharmacy performance and identify opportunities to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Support business growth through community engagement and the continued expansion of clinical services.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in Saskatchewan or eligible for licensure.
- Previous community pharmacy experience, with leadership or pharmacy management experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively balance clinical responsibilities with operational leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Passion for independent community pharmacy and building long-term patient relationships.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and practicing to full scope.
