Our team of physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, and allied health professionals are committed to delivering exceptional patient care across a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, ICBC claims, WorkSafeBC cases, and chronic pain management.

We're growing — and we're looking for a dedicated, motivated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team.

The Role

As a Physiotherapy Assistant at Smart Motion you'll work directly alongside our physiotherapists to deliver high quality patient care, assist with treatment programs, and ensure every patient has an outstanding experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, collaborative clinic environment where no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting physiotherapists in delivering one-on-one patient treatments
- Setting up and operating clinic equipment including traction, shockwave, ultrasound, and electrical modalities
- Guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercise programs
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting observations to the treating physiotherapist
- Preparing and maintaining treatment areas between patients
- Assisting with clinic administration as needed including scheduling and patient communication
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring the clinic is clean, organized, and fully operational at all times





What We're Looking For

Required:

- Diploma or certificate in Physiotherapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and therapeutic modalities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, team-based environment
- Qualified, reliable, and genuinely patient-centred

Preferred:

- Previous experience in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation clinic setting
- Experience with ICBC and WorkSafeBC patient populations
- Familiarity with Jane App or similar clinic management software
- Bilingual in Punjabi or Hindi an asset given our patient demographic

Schedule

- Monday to Friday

Compensation $18–$24/hour depending on experience and qualifications
