Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and cheeses with precision and care
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment, ensuring consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Serve customers at the counter or assist with food service as needed, providing friendly and effective service
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene throughout the meal preparation process
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
- Support team members during busy hours by helping with meal preparation and maintaining a positive work environment
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in pizza or kitchen environments
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail when preparing ingredients and cooking pizzas
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards customer service
- Basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to fast-paced shifts
