Role Description

- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for platform development aligned with business goals and user experience.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to platform teams, ensuring best practices in architecture, design, and development.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and product managers.
- Ensure platform architecture is robust, scalable, secure, and high-performing.
- Implement and maintain metrics to monitor platform performance, reliability, and user engagement.
- Lead platform projects from planning through delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver platform solutions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Must Have

- Hands-on experience with Temenos IRIS Framework.




- Experience deploying APIs.
- Experience with field-level mapping on Payments or AA Products to produce Interface Requirement Documents (IRDs).
- Experience in API performance tuning across integration layers.
- Solid understanding of Temenos integration architecture.

Good to Have

- Canadian Financial Institution (FI) experience.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in platform development, integration, and management, including 2+ years in technical leadership.
- Understanding of Canadian banking and/or payments ecosystem is an asset.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
- Proficiency in Web, Application, and Database platforms.
- Robust understanding of AWS, Azure, API development, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with multi-server environments.
- Working knowledge of DevOps principles.
- Experience with Splunk.
- Strong technical leadership, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management skills.
