Job Summary

Harris Heating & Air Conditioning Services Inc is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Licensed Plumber (306A) to help launch and grow our plumbing division. This is a unique opportunity to join an established, trusted HVAC company with a solid reputation in Windsor-Essex and play a role in expanding our services.

The successful candidate will perform residential and light commercial plumbing service, repairs, and installations while helping develop the systems, processes, and standards for our new plumbing department. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, provides exceptional customer service, and enjoys working independently.

This is more than a plumbing position, its's an opportunity to build and lead a growing division with the potential to advance into a leadership role as the department expands.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and renovation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and implement timely solutions
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of building systems




- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and system specifications
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling construction materials, heavy equipment, and hazardous substances

Qualifications

- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within commercial or residential settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing components and systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Familiarity with carpentry techniques and HVAC systems is a plus
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required on-site
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction environments
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transportation between job sites
- Construction experience combined with knowledge of schematics and assembly processes enhances your suitability for this role
