WORLD CLASS - through people, technology, and dedicationPosition Summary The Director, Operations is a member of the Canadian Leadership Team and is responsible for improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of operational activities across Kongsberg Discovery Canada. This individual will play a hands-on leadership role in building and strengthening the processes, systems, metrics, and operating discipline required to support the next stage of the business's growth.

Working cross functionally, leading initiatives spanning hardware manufacturing, project execution, service delivery, quality, planning, and continuous improvement. This role is ideally suited to a highly collaborative and execution-oriented leader who enjoys building structure in growing organizations.



Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & Business Excellence Serve as a member of the Canadian Leadership Team and contribute to business performance and execution.

Establish and maintain an effective operating cadence, including KPI reviews, forecasting, performance reporting, and action tracking. Lead manufacturing, hardware operations, production planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and field service activities. Ensure operational capacity, resources, and processes support current and future business needs.

Drive improvements in quality, delivery performance, productivity, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. Partner with Engineering and Product Management to support product introductions and operational readiness. Oversee facilities and workplace operations to ensure a safe, productive, and scalable working environment.

Lead organizational change initiatives and help shape the future operating model of Kongsberg Discovery Canada. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, project execution, and/or service delivery. ~ Experience leading cross-functional teams within a technology, hardware manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment. ~ Demonstrated success improving business processes, implementing operational systems, and leading organizational change. ~ Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational metrics. ~ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
