Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing them for daily use
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including food prep areas and storage
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently completing meal preparation tasks
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen fully equipped for service




- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive, energetic work environment focused on quality and efficiency

Qualifications

- Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail when handling food items and maintaining cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and food handling procedures is a plus
- A proactive approach to learning current skills within the food industry environment
