As a Pressure Equipment Integrity Assessment Technologist/ Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing inspection reports for pressure vessels, pressure relieving devices, pressure piping, and storage tanks across field locations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. You will work closely with Asset Integrity field teams and Operations teams to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of pressure equipment assets while supporting Canadian Natural's integrity management programs.

Key Accountabilities

- Ensure all aspects of the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management Program are implemented and effectively executed for pressure vessels, pressure piping, and storage tanks.
- Maintain alignment with Field integrity technicians on turnaround schedule and maintenance activities to ensure inspections, repairs, and regulatory compliance requirements are completed as required.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute integrity assessments and assign regulatory intervals on all pressure equipment assets.
- Review inspection reports, non-destructive examination (NDE) findings, corrosion assessments,



and engineering recommendations to determine appropriate integrity management strategies using regulatory guidance such as ABSA AB506.
- Calculate equipment remaining life using API 510, National Board, API 570.
- Monitor corrosion trends, damage mechanisms, degradation rates, and inspection results to optimize inspection intervals and mitigate risk.
- Identify equipment requiring repairs and escalate as appropriate.
- Maintain pressure equipment records with Integrity Data Management Systems (Maxi Trak V4) and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- ABSA ISI or TSASK Class 2 or National Board IS is required.
- An Engineering degree, Engineering Technology diploma, or related technical discipline preferred.
- API 570, API 510 and/or additional integrity-related certifications would be considered assets.
- Familiarity with API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3
