Job Summary A key part of this role is providing meaningful companionship and helping the client remain active and engaged in the community. The caregiver will regularly accompany the client on outings and recreational activities, which may include going for coffee or lunch, shopping, attending appointments, visiting parks or attractions, participating in local events, and other enjoyable activities based on the client’s interests and abilities.

The caregiver should be comfortable driving the client (caregiver must have a Class 5 Drivers License), planning enjoyable outings, and encouraging social interaction and participation in hobbies and leisure activities.
