Process Engineering Assistant (Internship)

Reports To: Process Plant Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, organize, and analyze production, quality, and process data.
- Monitor Ni-Cr and Zinc electroplating line performance and key process parameters.
- Assist with troubleshooting process, quality, and equipment issues.
- Track chemical consumption, water usage, downtime, and production KPIs.
- Update SOPs, process flow diagrams, P&IDs;, and engineering documentation.
- Support preventive maintenance and reliability improvement activities.
- Conduct shop floor inspections, safety observations, and process audits.
- Prepare weekly reports and improvement recommendations.

Qualifications

- 3rd-year Engineering student (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Industrial, or related discipline).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, charts, formulas, pivot tables).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Basic chemistry knowledge, preferably related to electroplating, chemical processes, or wastewater treatment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and industrial operations.

- Process and production KPI dashboard.
- Updated engineering documentation and drawings.
- Chemical and process performance analysis.
- Cost-saving and efficiency improvement recommendations.
- Final presentation summarizing project outcomes and findings.

Pay: $23.50 per hour
