Project Manager – Disaster Restoration

Your Role as Project Manager As a Project Manager, you will oversee restoration and reconstruction projects from the initial emergency response through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Travelling to disaster sites to assess the situation
- Making timely and informed decisions during emergencies
- Determining the scope of work required
- Coordinating employees, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders involved in each file
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, employees and insurance representatives
- Monitoring the progress of active restoration and reconstruction projects
- Ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met
- Keeping customers and stakeholders informed throughout the project
- Ensuring every stage of the project is properly documented in the appropriate software
- Managing several active files while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail
Desired Profile
- Valid driver’s licence- required
- Strong computer skills
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Experience in disaster restoration, construction or project management is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Xactimate and Symbility is considered an asset
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Full-time position
- Monday-to-Friday schedule
- Evening and weekend emergency rotation
- 40 hours per week or more, depending on operational requirements
