Overview

Mernova Medicinal Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team on a temporary one-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on operational needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a regulated manufacturing environment while working as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

- Conduct Swab Testing on Production Rooms and Equipment.
- Complete process control checks for packaging, labelling, and shipping.
- Inspect product packages and labels before shipment.
- Ensure that all cases, units, and boxes from each PO are accurately accounted for before shipping.
- Assist with assembling, shipping, and receiving activities as required.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to count accurately and work efficiently.
- Knowledge in Good Production Practices (GPP)or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)regulated environments.
- Knowledge in quality and document control
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Trouble shooting and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures , chemical specifications, PPE, GMP's / GPP's , cleanliness monitoring and effectiveness programs in a manufacturing environment
- Positive understanding of the Cannabis Act and Regulations

Position Details
- Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (1 Month)

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift, 7:00am- 3 pm
- Pay: $17.00 per hour
- Location: Windsor, NS
