About Us
Ariel Technology Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer of industrial thermal management products for electrical and electronic enclosures. Our product line includes fan filters, exhaust filters, thermostats, heaters, thermoelectric cooling units, and accessories serving customers across North America and international markets.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Coordinator to join our growing manufacturing team. Reporting directly to the President, this position is responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous monitoring of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming inspection of purchased components and raw materials.
Conduct in-process inspections throughout production.
Perform final inspection and testing of finished products before shipment.
Verify products against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Perform dimensional measurements using calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Conduct electrical and functional testing where required.
Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist with corrective actions.
Monitor product quality trends and identify recurring issues.
Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality concerns.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.
Maintain inspection equipment and calibration records.
Assist with customer complaint investigations and product quality reviews.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and scrap.
Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Quality Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring equipment.
Robust computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with ISO 9001 manufacturing environments is considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrical, electronics, HVAC, industrial equipment, or mechanical manufacturing.
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment.
Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
ASQ Quality Technician (CQT) certification is an asset.
