We are seeking skilled and motivated REEFER TECHNICIANS / 310 MECHANICS to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigerated trailers and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our fleet running smoothly, reduce downtime, and uphold the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on refrigerated trailers and related equipment
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues effectively
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to restore trailer integrity or modify components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving large parts or equipment to ensure safety and proper handling
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements





- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on refrigerated trailers or similar heavy-duty equipment
- Dealership experience is highly desirable for understanding complex systems and customer service standards
- Strong mechanical knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and trailer chassis systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes
- Experience with welding techniques and fabricating repairs using various welding equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with automotive repair tools, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to repairs and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with team members or clients
