The Opportunity The Recruitment
Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Concord, ON. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including identifying staffing needs, posting job openings, sourcing candidates, and screening resumes.
The Recruitment
Specialist, under the direction of the Director, Human Resources will conduct interviews, coordinate hiring decisions with managers, and support onboarding and training activities for new team members. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate recruitment records, building talent pipelines, and promoting Ram Iron & Metal Inc. as an employer of choice. The role involves regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure hiring needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years of related
Degree or diploma in a related field.
Certified Human Resources
Professional (CHRP) or working towards would be an asset.
Demonstrated experience in Recruiting and Hiring for a variety of roles.
Strong Interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with candidates and internal teams.
Ability to support and coordinate Training and onboarding activities for new hires.
Previous experience in talent acquisition or human resources, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of Canadian employment standards and best practices in recruitment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and basic office software.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
Working
Environment The working environment is busy and fast paced, with regular and ongoing interactions with colleagues, management, and the public at large. Interactions with Employees under varying circumstances include situations of a highly sensitive nature. There may be frequent interruptions, and from time to time be noisy.
