Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is a full-time, on-site role based in Cambridge, ON. This role involves providing high-quality therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus on stress relief, pain management, and overall wellness. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client intake assessments, maintaining accurate treatment records, collaborating with other team members to coordinate services, and educating clients on self-care and treatment plans.

The RMT will support the studio’s client experience by maintaining a clean, safe treatment environment and upholding professional standards and regulatory requirements.



The role also includes participating in ongoing training, contributing to client retention, and supporting occasional studio events or promotions.

Qualifications

Ability to deliver a range of massage services, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, tailored to client needs.

Experience with Shiatsu or similar modalities that complement massage therapy practice.

Skills in Stress Management to help clients achieve relaxation and overall wellness.

Strong Customer Service skills to provide a welcoming, professional, and client-centered experience.

Current registration and good standing with the appropriate massage therapy regulatory body (e.g., CMTO or equivalent), with valid liability insurance.

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and safe treatment practices, including adherence to hygiene and infection control standards.

Excellent communication skills, including clear client consultation, documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary esthetics environment.

Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions safely, and manage a consistent full-time client schedule.

Previous experience in a spa, wellness clinic, or esthetics studio setting is an asset.
