Fable Bar & Grill is a unique venue located in downtown Vancouver. Fable Bar is a full service restaurant , bar, patio, private room all under one roof. We focus on local suppliers and ingredients, providing friendly and productive service, a quality value menu, and an amazing cocktail menu.

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic working variable bartender or server at Fable Bar in downtown. This is a FOH / manager position. The successful candidate will be expected to work at least 2-3 closes per week. Perform weekly counts and generate beverage costs. Order based on par levels and sales volume. Help drive sales / service while on the floor

Responsibilities

- Work at least 3-5 bar/ server shifts per week. Cover day shift/ swing shift and weekend night shifts
- Get to know current regulars and build new regulars
- Help build promotions and create promotional nights- NFL weekly picks/ Pool tournament/ karaoke




- Weekly inventory control- count/ par levels/ variance reports
- Cocktail , wine list and beer menu
- Weekly cleaning duties/ systems/ checklists
- Close the restaurant to standard procedures/ key holder
- Qualifications
- At least two years of full service manager or bar experience
- Able to bartend/ serve in high volume situations
- Possible club promoter experience
- Inventory / cost control knowledge
- Proven server abilities
- Love for hospitality and high service standards
