Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our agile food service team. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent food and service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position is essential for ensuring smooth kitchen operations and providing a positive experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Serve customers with professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food safety practices, including proper food handling and storage




- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items to enhance customer experience
- Follow sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new team members
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous
- Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and POS transactions
- Experience with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and proper food handling practices in the food industry
