Street Vendor – Job Overview

Join our team as a Street Vendor ! We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking individual to sell fresh fruits, bottled water, cold drinks, juices, and other refreshing items from roadside location. In this customer-facing role, you will provide excellent service, maintain an organized and attractive display, and help ensure customers have a pleasant shopping experience.

This is a paid position with opportunities for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and interacting with people.

Responsibilities

- Sell fresh fruits, bottled water, soft drinks, juices, and other refreshments to customers from a roadside stall or designated selling location.
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and assist them with their purchases.
- Handle cash, card, or digital payments accurately and provide correct change when required.
- Keep the sales area clean, organized, and visually appealing throughout the day.
- Restock fruits, drinks, and other products as inventory runs low.
- Monitor product quality and freshness, removing damaged or expired items when necessary.
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and report inventory shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene,



and workplace safety standards.
- Open and close the sales stand according to the assigned schedule.
- Represent the company professionally while providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, street vending, or customer service is an asset but not required.
- Friendly personality with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes of fruits, beverages, or supplies as needed.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions.
- Honest, dependable, and punctual with a robust work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Willingness to learn company procedures and product knowledge.
