The ideal candidate is a strong systems-level developer who cares about performance, correctness, and clean architecture and lives in or around Montreal

Must-haves

- Strong experience in Rust programming, with a deep understanding of systems-level programming
- Solid software engineering fundamentals: API design, testing strategy, code review, and technical documentation
- Experience with distributed systems, network protocols, and secure computing principles
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performance-oriented code
- Knowledge of key-value stores, databases, and low-level system optimizations
- Comfort working across the stack when needed — services, tooling, and integrations




- Understanding of software development best practices such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code documentation

Nice-to-haves

- Experience with cryptography or zero-knowledge proof systems (a very strong plus)
- Background in blockchain or decentralized protocols — consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, or ecosystems like Solana and Cosmos
- Experience with async Rust (Tokio), WASM, or FFI boundaries
- JavaScript/TypeScript experience
- Bilingual English + French
