OPC Services Inc. is a growing demolition and asbestos abatement contractor based in Edmonton, Alberta, and we are looking for a motivated full-time Safety Coordinator / Project Management Support to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about workplace safety and wants to play an active role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.

ResponsibilitiesSafety

- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta OHS legislation and company safety policies.
- Assist with COR requirements and safety program maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation and site-specific safety plans.
- Coordinate orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety training.
- Investigate incidents and assist with corrective actions.
- Maintain records of inspections, certifications, and safety documentation.

Project Management Support
- Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and closeout packages.
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Track project progress, schedules, and documentation.
- Assist with procurement of materials and equipment.
- Help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications




- Experience in the construction industry is required.
- Experience in demolition and/or asbestos abatement is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Alberta Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- NCSO designation is considered an asset.
- Experience with COR programs is an asset.
