Position Description The Sales Representative’s main goal is to cold call their roster or accounts on a regular basis in order to obtain and get bid packages, design and/or prototyping opportunities, present pricing to clients, negotiate and close orders.

- Account Acquisition and Strategic Outreach
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities that align with Artitalia Group’s capabilities and growth objectives.
- Develop targeted prospecting strategies through cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, trade shows, and market research.
- Evaluate prospective clients’ needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, emerging opportunities, competitors, and industry developments.
- Client Relationship and Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Understand each client’s business, purchasing process, expectations, and preferred service approach.
- Conduct regular client meetings, account reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, including purchasing, design, operations, and executive teams.
- Position Artitalia Group as a trusted, long-term partner by delivering a responsive and professional customer experience.
- Account Growth and Strategic Development
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional products, services, programs, or business categories.
- Develop strategic account plans based on client needs, industry trends, and Artitalia Group’s manufacturing capabilities.
- Present new product concepts, innovations, and value-engineered solutions to clients.
- Review previous projects, quotations, and lost opportunities to identify areas for future growth.
- Proposal, RFQ and RFP Management
- Manage the commercial aspects of requests for proposals, requests for quotations, and requests for information.
- Review project requirements, clarify the scope of work, and gather the information required to prepare an accurate submission.
- Coordinate with Estimating, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams throughout the proposal process.
- Review quotations and proposals for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with client expectations before submission.
- Present proposals to clients, respond to questions, and support negotiations through project award.
- Project Collaboration and Client Support
- Collaborate with internal teams from the initial concept and proposal stages through prototyping, production, and rollout.
- Communicate the client’s expectations, objectives, budget, timelines, and project requirements to the appropriate internal teams.
- Remain actively involved during prototype and sample development to support client communication and ensure alignment.
- Maintain strategic oversight once projects enter production, while operational teams manage day-to-day coordination and order updates.
- Forecasting and Program Planning
- Work with clients and internal account management teams to support sales forecasts, inventory planning, and production requirements.
- Review client demand, purchasing patterns, rollout schedules, and anticipated program volumes.
- Communicate changes in demand, timing, or project scope that may affect inventory or production planning.
- Help ensure forecasts remain aligned with client expectations and program requirements.
- Client Advocacy and Post-Sales Support
- Act as an advocate for the client by ensuring internal teams understand key requirements, deadlines, and expectations.
- Proactively identify potential risks or service concerns and work with the appropriate teams to develop solutions.
- Conduct post-project follow-ups to gather feedback, assess client satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain regular communication following project completion to support account retention and uncover future opportunities.
- Industry Representation and Reporting
- Represent Artitalia Group at trade shows, client events, networking activities, and other industry functions.
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry contacts.
- Participate in regular sales and business reviews by providing updates on pipeline activity, account performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and established sales processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Proven experience prospecting, developing, and securing new business opportunities.
- Experience selling custom-manufactured products, solutions, or services within the Retail and Restaurant & Hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and grow existing accounts.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Experience using HubSpot CRM (asset).
- Ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of Artitalia Group’s manufacturing capabilities, products, and services.
