Loraas Disposal South Ltd. is head quartered in Regina at 620 McLeod Street. Satellite facilities are located in Moose Jaw and Kennedy Saskatchewan.

Loraas has been in the solid waste and recycle business in southern Saskatchewan since 1973. The company is 100% Saskatchewan owned and operated and is Saskatchewan’s leading hauler of recyclable materials and solid waste. Our customers include the commercial, industrial, institutional and municipal sectors of the provincial economy and include over eighty percent of the top one hundred businesses and institutions in the Regina and Moose Jaw regions.

Loraas provides “full service” to meet all our customers’ requirements. We maintain a complete mechanical and fabricating shop. We employ mechanics and welders to maintain our own equipment and that of our customers to the highest of industry standards and public safety.

Our modern fleet of trucks ensures customer service is delivered in a timely manner. Whether it is service delivery trucks for container maintenance and washing, our front-end load trucks for small to medium business needs, side load trucks for curbside collection of waste, recycling and organics carts or our high volume institutional and industrial customers’ requiring our compaction and roll-off services, fencing needs, or portable toilet services; Loraas Disposal has the equipment and safety record to ensure prompt, reliable waste and recycling transportation.

Loraas Disposal is accepting applications for an Outside Sales Position - one for Rural Saskatchewan encompassing an area around Moose Jaw and Regina with a radius of approximately 120 to 150 km. The position can be based at either our Regina or Moose Jaw office (training will be in Regina for the first 3 months). The position includes a base salary with commissions, company vehicle, cell phone, and tablet. Loraas offers an RRSP plan and medical benefit package.

Your role will include: Managing a large number of existing customers - Increase market share though acquiring recent customers - Develop long term relationships with businesses, municipalities and community organizations - Coordinate with office and operations personnel for the delivery of services - An emphasis on meeting face to face with current and potential customers.

The successful candidate for this role will have: Proficiency in using all aspects of Microsoft Office - Self-motivated - Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills - an expert listener - Self Disciplined and accountable for daily work demands - Ability to manage time and work independently. Candidates must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license with a positive driver rating for insurance purposes.

Knowledge of rural Saskatchewan and municipal governments would be an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,200.00-$5,000.00 per month
