Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer interaction skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food preparation.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Ensure proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Qualifications

- Previous 1 year of experience in a subway restaurant is preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Ability to operate a cash register and POS system effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to help team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
