SAP Commerce Cloud Architect – Hybris eCommerce, Java & Enterprise Integration

Required Skills

- 10+ years of architecture experience with proven ability to design and implement high-level, multichannel eCommerce architectures.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex enterprise projects successfully.
- Experience with mid to large-scale B2C SAP Hybris eCommerce platforms.
- Robust experience integrating SAP Commerce Cloud with third-party systems, having led 5–7 integration projects.
- Experience developing Java Enterprise applications and web technologies.
- Expert knowledge of:
- SAP Hybris architecture
- Systems integration
- SAP Commerce development
- Package implementation
- Multiple technology platforms
- Interactive design
- Strong eCommerce background with the ability to create and manage Hybris data models, including:
- Products
- Catalogs
- Storefronts
- Customers
- Orders
- Cart
- SOLR design, setup, and tuning
- APIs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP Hybris technical solutions.
- SAP Commerce Architect certification is a plus.





Key Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture • Lead the architecture and design of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

- Develop and implement architecture strategies leveraging SAP Commerce Cloud capabilities.

• Integration Strategy • Ensure seamless integration across enterprise systems with focus on:

- Data flow
- Security
- Process automation

• Technical Solutions & Code Quality • Define and enforce coding standards and code quality practices.

- Ensure development activities meet performance, scalability, and quality standards.
- Develop technical solutions and provide architecture guidance.
- Conduct regular code reviews and mentor development teams.

• Stakeholder Engagement • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Provide expert-level consultation on SAP Commerce platform capabilities.
- Design customizations and recommend best practices.
- Identify potential risks and provide guidance for future enhancements.
