Overview

VW Social Club is looking to hire the right individuals to serve as Security Guards/Hosts in the evening on weekdays. Candidates will have completed the provincial training program and possess a valid Manitoba Security Guard license, and have some amount of experience in a security position. Experience in a bar/nightclub will virtually guarantee you an interview.

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), a keen eye for detail, non violent crisis intervention training, and a "Words first, hands last" mindset.

This position is eligible for a staff discount, as well as tip sharing.

Skills





- Solid understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols
- Experience with surveillance technology and CCTV operation
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Outstanding communication skills for interacting professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency responders
- This position also involves some collective end of shift cleaning duties.

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
