Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated one-on-one FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) support worker to provide loving, personalized care for an amazing five year old child. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and passionate about working with children with diverse needs, creating a nurturing environment that promotes growth and happiness. The child will be attending half day kindergarten and will arrive at the Out of School care Program at 11:30 each day.

Hours required:

11:30 - 5:30 Monday through Friday; option to pick up more hours on Career development days and School closure days. Please do not apply if you're not available for Monday - Friday 11:30 - 5:30.

Start date: September 2nd (potential to start sooner)

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive one on one support to the child during daily routines, including play, learning, and rest periods.
- Support the child's developmental activities by teaching new skills,



encouraging social interaction, and promoting independence.
- Collaborate with the team and family members to ensure consistency in care and support strategies.
- Diaper changes and toilet training required.
- Ability to follow through consistently on Individualized goals.

Experience

- Prior experience working with children, especially those with disabilities or special needs
- Demonstrated ability to provide caregiving support in a nurturing and positive manner
- Strong teaching skills to support developmental milestones and behavioral goals
- Passion for working with children and creating engaging, supportive interactions

Must have a clean criminal record/child welfare check. Must have at minimum level 1 Early Childhood Educator certificate. Pay: $28.62 per hour
