Overview

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Semi Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight between locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle operation and safety. This position offers an exciting prospect to be a vital part of our logistics operations, supporting the seamless movement of goods across regions.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate semi trucks to transport freight to designated destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems to ensure roadworthiness
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and inspection reports in compliance with company policies and legal requirements




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to address minor mechanical issues during routes
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading freight

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts
- Knowledge of automotive repair fundamentals for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Ability to handle heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
