Position: Senior Android Developer

Location: Toronto, Canada hybrid (2 days office mandatory)

In person interview can happen

Must share Valid DL copy front and back

Must have experience with financial/Banking client

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications in Kotlin and Java.
- Build up-to-date and responsive UI components using Jetpack Compose.
- Develop asynchronous and reactive features using RxJava, Coroutines, and Flow.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, mocking frameworks, and code reviews.
- Architect clean and maintainable codebases following Clean Architecture principles.
- Implement and manage dependency injection with Dagger2, Hilt, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with design, product, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development best practices, tools, and trends.
- Manage workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD using GitHub Flow.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.

Requirements





- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
- Strong experience with Jetpack Compose for UI design.
- Hands-on expertise in asynchronous programming (RxJava, Coroutines, Flow).
- Solid understanding of unit testing frameworks and mocking techniques.
- Experience implementing Clean Architecture and using dependency injection (Dagger2, Hilt).
- Familiarity with modern Android development best practices.
- Working knowledge of GitHub workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Firebase Performance, LeakCanary).
- Contributions to open-source Android projects or personal app portfolio.
