Senior Appian Developer

Experience Required: 6–8 Years

Role Description

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian low-code platform
- Build scalable, record-centric applications using Appian best practices
- Develop SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions
- Lead design discussions and perform code reviews
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
- Support deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps teams
- Support UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives

Managerial Skills (Nice to Have)

- Ability to lead small development teams and own delivery of assigned modules




- Mentor and coach junior developers on Appian best practices and design standards
- Conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Coordinate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams
- Track progress, identify risks, and proactively raise issue escalations
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, and Appian development standards
- Support release planning, cutover activities, and post-production stabilization
- Provide input on resourcing, technical dependencies, and solution feasibility
