We are growing, and we are looking for a talented, experienced Senior Nail Technician to join our team and help us continue to set the standard for luxury nail care in Ottawa.

The Role

As a Senior Nail Technician at The Chic Nail Lounge, you will be a key member of our lounge team, delivering precision nail services in a high-end, client-focused environment. You will bring technical excellence, a refined aesthetic, and a passion for the craft to every appointment

Key Responsibilities

Perform Russian (Smart/Dry) manicures and pedicures to a consistently high standard

Deliver a full range of nail services including gel, BIAB, nail art, and nail extensions

Provide a warm, attentive, and personalized client experience in line with our luxury brand standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sanitized workstation at all times

Consult with clients to understand their preferences, nail health, and desired outcomes

Stay current with trends, techniques, and product knowledge in the nail industry

Contribute positively to the team environment and uphold the salon's standards of professionalism

Manage appointment scheduling and client follow-ups as required

What We Are Looking For





Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience performing Russian (Smart/Dry) manicures

Proven experience working in a luxury spa, high-end salon, or premium nail studio environment

Availability to work weekdays and Saturdays (required)

Strong technical proficiency across a range of nail services — Bio gel, BIAB, acrylics, nail art, and extensions

Exceptional attention to detail and a refined eye for nail aesthetics A client-first mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard environment

Valid nail technician certification or relevant professional qualification

Professionalism, punctuality, and a genuine passion for the craft

Nice to Have

Experience with nail art design, including florals, minimalist designs, and editorial styles

Knowledge of nail health, and recovery treatments

Experience with client retention and building a loyal client base

Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset
