Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations




- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a solid understanding of the food industry standards
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks effectively during busy hours
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for better coordination with culinary teams
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest services and creating welcoming atmospheres
