We are seeking a reliable and personable individual to join our Airdrie, Alberta warehouse team in a full time Shipping and Receiving role. This position is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include accurately picking customer orders, securely packaging shipments, and unloading and shelving incoming stock. The ideal candidate will be organized, physically capable of repeatedly lifting boxes, sometimes weighing up to 40 lbs., with a valid forklift license.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Daily collection, packaging and shipping of customer orders
2. Finalizing invoices after orders are shipped
3. Monitoring stock levels and maintaining an organized warehouse
4. Receiving new stock into warehouse, unloading and shelving it in a neat and organized way
5. Periodic inventory counting and organizing
6. Interacting with freight companies and answering client inquiries regarding shipping

Forklift and pallet jack operation (requires a valid forklift license)

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Basic computer and email skills
- Proficient in English with strong grammar skills
- Physically fit, able to lift boxes of up to 40 lbs.
- Cheerful and friendly disposition, comfortable working in a small office environment and communicating with team members in other departments

Additional Notes Steel toe boot/shoe allowance will be provided on an annual basis to conform to steel toe policy.

Our hours of operation are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday 9am to 4:30pm. There will be no requirement to work in evenings, on weekends, or on statutory holidays.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
