Shipper/Receiver – Warehouse Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, supporting warehouse operations, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with shipping & receiving, warehouse processes, and material handling equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values precision, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload shipments using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments securely and accurately.
- Receive incoming goods and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Organize, store, and stage products to support efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse and exterior shipping areas.
- Ensure all documentation, labelling, and safety procedures are completed accurately and consistently.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy, including occasional overtime or weekend work.
- Follow all safety protocols during loading and unloading to prevent damage or accidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or similar roles.
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification considered an asset).
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification.
- Knowledge of safe and effective packaging techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.

Pay: From $22.13 per hour
